Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to provide essential support to individuals in need. As a Care Assistant, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of seniors and individuals requiring assistance with daily activities. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the well-being and comfort of others.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide personal care and assistance to individuals in their homes, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or hospice care settings
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and restrictions
- Administer medication reminders and assist with medication management
- Monitor and report changes in clients' health or behavior to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and organizing living spaces
- Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals

**Skills**:

- Previous experience in nursing home, home care, or caregiving is preferred
- Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and dietary restrictions
- Familiarity with dementia care and understanding of the unique needs of individuals with memory loss
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when providing hospice care
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized environment for clients
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to provide quality patient care while respecting privacy and maintaining confidentiality
- Flexibility in adapting to the changing needs of clients

**Requirements**:
Must have own commute and class 4 license

Vulnerable sectors check, CPR/SFA Level C, Food handlers and Medication

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: $15.70-$16.00 per hour
