We’re looking for **Portuguese-speaking Tour Guides** in **Calgary, AB**. This freelance/contractor role is ideal for outgoing individuals who love their city, enjoy storytelling, and are comfortable engaging with groups. You’ll lead walking tours that showcase Calgary's culture, history, and character—**in Portuguese**.

This is an ongoing opportunity, perfect for part-time work and often includes weekend shifts. Prior tour guiding experience is an asset, but not required. **Portuguese fluency is mandatory**; additional languages such as English, French, Spanish, or German are welcome.

**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Research, design, and lead engaging walking tours in Portuguese
- Welcome and guide groups of 10-30 guests through Calgary's top spots
- Deliver high-quality customer service with local tips and recommendations
- Represent Toonie Tours and your community with pride and professionalism
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Encourage tips and upsell additional experiences where appropriate

**Key Attributes**
- **Fluent in Portuguese (required)**:

- Strong public speaking, storytelling, and interpersonal skills
- Fun, energetic, and confident with a sense of humor
- Self-motivated and able to thrive in a performance-based environment
- Reliable and punctual—you always show up early and prepared
- Physically fit (able to walk ~5km while speaking for 2.5 hours)
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- Previous tour guide or performance experience is a bonus

Pay: $15.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3.5 - 20 per week
