**Wedding & Event Server & Bartender**

Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory is a unique and high profile tourist attraction located in Cambridge Ontario. The entire facility is available for private after hours booking for special events such as Wedding Receptions, Corporate dinner parties, and other private events. The Wedding & Events Server & Bartender will work with the Sr. Event Manager and the Wedding & Events team to setup, to serve, to bartend, and to clean-up the facility for our Client’s event.
- Casual / seasonal shifts
- Working 8-10 hour shifts, weeknights, weekends, and holidays

Assist the Wedding Team with the following tasks:
**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Prepare & setup dining & event space prior to event
- Follow event setup instructions with strong attention to detail
- Assist with serving food in various styles: buffet, four course, and or cocktail style
- Assist with serving drinks and bartending throughout the events
- Assists with all set-up functions to include moving tables & chairs, setting up dishware & silverware, draping tables & chairs, folding napkins and arranging center pieces/décor
- Ensure event area is kept clean & tidy
- Clean up dining & event space after event
- Clean up kitchen, clean dishes, polish silverware & glassware
- Join the front-line for “all-hands-on-deck” events including but not limited to Family Day, March Break, and Monarch Tagging Weekends
- Other Duties as assigned

**REQUIREMENTS**:
**Qualifications and Skills**
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Must be able to lift, pull, and push at least 20 pounds (i.e. moving tables, chairs and other equipment before and after events)
- Previous banquet set up or banquet serving experience preferred.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment.
- Excellent customer service & communication skills
- Must have a flexible schedule and be available to work nights weekends, and holidays.
- Valid Smart Serve certificate
- Criminal Reference Check
- Food Safety Training Certificate an asset
- First Aid CPR AED level C an asset

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 0-30 per week

**Salary**: $15.50-$30.00 per hour
