Part-time English Language Teachers

**JOB TYPE**: Part-time, Contract
**SCHEDULE**: Weekdays and evenings
College La Cité is looking for part-time English as a Second Language teachers willing to teach in adult ESL courses in a variety of different programs.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Current TESL Ontario Certification
- Knowledge and experience with the Canadian Language Benchmarks
- University degree in Education, English Literature, Linguistics, or any other training deemed relevant,
- Excellent practice and knowledge in the principles of adult teaching and learning
- Good knowledge of educational technological tools
- Excellent English communication skills
- Demonstrated experience teaching online and using Learning Management Systems (particularly Brightspace) is considered an asset
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Demonstrated experience in a teamwork environment
- Bilingualism (English-French) is an asset
In the current pandemic context, it is expected that the incumbent can teach and work remotely until further notice. College La Cité reserves the right to require the return of face-to-face employees to the official campus location indicated below and in compliance with the recommendations and health measures issued by Public Health. It is also expected that the incumbent will be able to provide a face-to-face service at least one day per week and, if necessary, for any other operational needs that may be necessary. Therefore, **you must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19** unless accommodation measures are taken due to a documented medical or religious contraindication according to the requirements of the directives mandated at College La Cité.
