- **Required Qualifications**:_
- **Valid Alberta Security License**:

- **Loss Prevention Officer experienced or equivalent - preferred**:

- Be 18 years of age or older, with a High School Diploma or equivalent education
- Legally entitled to work for any employer in Canada
- High-level customer service experience
- Excellent English communication, both Written & Verbal
- Availability to work day, afternoon, night, and weekend shifts
- First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong observational and reporting skills
- Knowledge of computer systems is sufficient enough to enter, retrieve and manipulate data
- Work under stressful conditions and react appropriately using good judgment
- Able to work effectively with the team or individually
- Physically capable to stand for long periods and able to work outside, regardless of weather conditions
- **Duties and Responsibilities**:_

The duties and responsibilities of a Security Guard will include but are not limited to:

- Ensure that work instruction, worksite process and procedures are being followed
- Ability to blend into environments and carry out duties discreetly
- Ability to escort trespassers away from client premises
- Defuse potentially volatile situations and intervene when necessary
- Understand the company and clients' expectation
- Maintaining a positive attitude and professional working relationships with employees, clients, and members of the public
- Document theft and other security violations
- Ability to respond well to emergency situations
- Completing written reports: Security Report, Incident Report, and other necessary forms
- Must maintain effective communication with clients and staff on site
- Must maintain high standards of personal appearance and deportment
- Regular interior and exterior foot patrols
- Complete other duties as required by the client or site supervisor

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

- Medicine Hat, AB T1A 2Y2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
