Our team includes five clinicians, a team leader, and a team assistant, all based in different regions of the province. We value equity, cultural responsiveness, and trauma-informed care, and we collaborate closely with local CYMH teams, schools, health authorities, and community partners to provide flexible, meaningful service that reflects the diverse needs of those we serve. **The Role** **Qualifications**: Education and Experience Requirements - **NOTE**: If your degree was obtained outside of Canada, you need to confirm it has been assessed for equivalency through the International Credential Evaluation Services (ICES). You must provide a basic report by the closing date of this posting to be considered. - Minimum of one year full-time equivalent experience working with children and youth and their families, with responsibility for providing a wide range of community based mental health services. - Must possess and maintain a valid class 5 BC Driver’s license with no restriction or equivalent (i.e. from another Canadian Province). Preference may be given to applicants with the following: - Three or more years experience working with children and youth and their families, with responsibility for providing a wide range of community based mental health services. - One or more years (gained in the last three years) delivering virtual services for children and youth and their parents in a mental health setting. - One or more years experience (gained in the last three years) working with parents providing mental health coaching and support for parenting children and youth with complex mental health presentations. - Experience utilizing Dialectical/Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (DBT/CBT) and Emotion Focused-Family Therapy (EFFT), gained in the last three years. - Training and experience in working with high-risk populations. - Past experience working as a SPO 24 (mental health clinician) in a Child and Youth Mental Health setting. - Applicants who self-identify as First Nations, Métis or Inuit with the required combination of education and experience.
