**Job Title**:
Budget Blinds of Airdrie, Chestermere & Area is looking for one **part-time custom window coverings installation support laborer**. We cover a geographical area that includes: Airdrie, Chestermere, Olds, Sundre, Three Hills and the surrounding rural areas.

**An Exceptional Role**:
Our mission is to is to provide a dependable, responsive, and consistent customer experience that goes above and beyond expectations. Our installation team is well trained and is supported by our excellent sales and administrative teams. As an installation support laborer with our team, we will require a high level of commitment, dependability, and patience. You will work side-by-side with a lead installer and you will be assisting him with installation support duties. The hours of work will be on weekdays during the day-time hours, as well as the occasional weekend day during day-time hours. The occasional evening may also be required. There is no guarantee on how many hours of work will be required as we are a leads-based business.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Supporting a lead installer with the installation of custom window coverings.
- Unpackaging blinds, sorting them out, and placing in the location to be installed
- Organizing the installation supplies such as screws, mounting brackets, valances, and installation rails and placing them in the location to be installed.
- Holding the bottom of a ladder for the lead installer to use when installing window coverings at unreachable heights.
- Cleaning up after the installation has been completed including packing up all garbage and installation materials, as well as dusting the window sills.
- Shelving new product deliveries, labelling boxes, and updating the warehouse tracking board.
- Keeping the warehouse organized which involves sorting and discarding garbage/recycle, and sweeping the floor.
- Assisting with marketing efforts such as placing & picking up yard signs and delivering door knockers.
- Constantly learning. We encourage and facilitate several training opportunities throughout each year to improve skill sets and knowledge

No previous experience in the window covering industry is required.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 - 30 per week
