**Overview**
**Duties**
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards for taste and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling practices.
- Assist with meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and preparing sauces.
- Monitor inventory levels of kitchen supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all guests.
- Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food handling procedures.
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
- A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that satisfy guests' needs.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
