Our company is hiring an enthusiastic individual to help our kitchen team prepare Flüffiest cheesecakes baked with premium ingredients and served fresh alongside our delectable line of hand-crafted beverages. Team Member responsibilities include preparing, cooking and serving food and beverages, as well as cleaning work areas. You must be a team player, have good communication skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. In addition to your regular duties, you will also be responsible for cleaning the kitchen area before and after your shift. As a Kitchen Team Member, you will be working in a high-pressure environment so you need to be very adept at multitasking and have good crisis management skills
**Key roles**
- Accurately complete all prep items and food orders to Flüf standards
- 100% recipe adherence and execution
- Operational standards adherence for execution, organization, and cleanliness
- Accountable for supporting standards of cleanliness, timing, uniform, grooming, organization, production, food quality, and consistency
- Wash, sanitize and organize dishes, cutlery, cooking utensils, pots and pans, etc. in an efficient manner throughout the shift to ensure sufficient supplies are available
- Deliver superior food and beverage products while maximizing guest satisfaction
- Daily Fiscal reporting; sales and labor
- Management of food and beverage inventory
- Provide the suggestions/recommendations for food and beverages based on the wants or needs of the customers.
- Possess extensive knowledge on menu and ingredient nutritional qualities
**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Knowledgeable about Flüf products, menus and promotions - be able to relate all information in appealing and informative manner to all guests
- Taking orders, answering menu item inquiries, preparation of food and beverage items
- Correct use of POS system, adhering to all company standards and policies
- Processing bills and taking payment while following cash handling procedures
- Support standards of cleanliness, timing, uniform, grooming, organization, production, food quality, and consistency through completion of operational checklists
- Maintain the work area, including all counter tops, serving utensils, equipment, and refrigeration in a clean and sanitary condition in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Monitor inventory of all products and assist when they need to be stocked, pulled, and/or prepped - keep management informed of food quantities and quality in prep, on the line, and in holding
- Ensure proper rotation, labeling, and dating of all products
- Ensure all products are prepared, held and served at correct temperatures and correct visual appearance
- Occasionally lift, move, carry, and stack cartons up to 50 pounds from various heights to/from shelves and basement.
- Clean and maintain dishwashing equipment, sinks and counters; regularly clearing drains and strainers of food debris to avoid buildup
- Collect and dispose of garbage, food waste, and recyclable materials
- Sweep and mop floors as required throughout the shift
- May be assigned to work multiple stations throughout the shift
**Job Requirements**
- Minimum one year of experience as a baker.
- Food Handler Certification (Prefered)
- Ability to prioritize and stay organized in a high-paced environment
- Fluency in English both written and verbal
- Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to carry and lift items weighing at least 25lbs, must be able to stoop and bend
- Must be able to stand and move for extended periods of time to continuously perform essential job functions
