We are seeking a talented Unreal Lighting Artist to join our team who will serve a key role in producing high-quality work to add colour and atmosphere to our scenes Our studio is located in Vancouver, Canada. However, position is fully remote **_#WorkFromHome_**

Job Title**:Unreal Lighting Artist** (Short Term Contract) (Remote)

**What You’ll Do**:

- Work closely with clients and Visual Development to light on a variety of projects and productions
- Create in a variety of styles for projects of various platforms (television, film, games, commercials, etc)
- Ensure deadlines and quality requirements of the lighting department are being met
- Communicate and collaborate with other departments to ensure scenes are production ready
- Provide input and feedback to developers to create/test lighting tools for our remote pipeline solution

**What You Need**:

- 2+ Years of professional experience as a Lighting Artist
- An excellent eye for detail, composition, color, and lighting
- Thorough understanding of lighting techniques, industry standards, and best practices
- Working knowledge of Autodesk Maya and Unreal Lighting Tools
- An understanding of Unreal Lighting Setups for different time of day (ie. morning, day, night, etc)
- Experience with different Unreal Weather Effects is a plus
- Knowledge of Houdini, Photoshop and other software's are a plus
- Ability to take direction and provide a consistent quality of work
- Excellent technical troubleshooting skills and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills and ability to liaise between management and staff
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask
- Must be able to adapt to various artistic styles for a variety of project types
- A link to your demo reel/portfolio showcasing your recent 3D lighting work
