Job description

**About Us**: OSCR has been serving the seniors of Oakville since 1972. We are Client-focused and seek to enrich the lives of our clients by having a Passion for Excellence, Enhancing the Quality of Life, Progress through Collaboration and Success through Respect, Dignity and Trust.

**Position**: Part-time

**Hours**: as scheduled, minimum of 22.5 hours/week including every other weekend and holidays

**Qualifications**: Food handler certificate, Completion of Secondary School, Ability to read, write and speak English, Food Prep and Wait staff experience preferred. Must be able to work as a team member and with the elderly.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervises dining room meal service
- Handles client’s concerns quickly and courteously
- Conducts orientation for new employees
- Ensures all scheduled positions are covered
- Records meal attendance
- Ensures a safe and healthy work environment for all staff
- Other duties as assigned.
- Reports issues and concerns to management

**Current (within 1 year) Vulnerable Sector Police Check Required**

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to $24.20 per hour
