**As Intern, Design/Verification, your key responsibilities include**:

- Use of DO-254 Airborne Electronic Hardware (AEH) development and certification process related to functional allocation, design, simulation, synthesis, place & route, test planning, verification and introduction to production
- Design of state-of-the-art digital hardware utilizing technologies including processor and DSP interfaces, video signal processing, I/O blocks and standard logic
- Support the architecture, design and development of PCBs for prototype and implementation of complex digital systems in FPGA or ASIC
- Support for the software and firmware design of associated processors, ASICs, and FPGAs
- Utilize CMC development process and participate in design reviews for key characteristics of performance as well as safety/reliability, test and manufacturability
- Analyze functional requirements for systems and/or sub-systems and participate in the definition of FPGA functional and performance requirements
- Participate in the definition of FPGA validation and verification plans
- Develop simulation verification test benches, verification components and bus-functional models in SystemVerilog, using standardized verification methodologies such as UVM
- Implement on-target test environments
- Document and execute test procedures, and write test reports

**To excel in this role, you must have**:

- Third or fourth year student enrolled in Bachelor in Electrical or Computer Engineering program
- Completed one or two industry coops involving design / verification of complex digital systems
- Knowledge of HDL coding for high-speed and low power digital circuits
- Familiar with developing verification plans, test benches and test cases
- Good communication skills, written and oral, and excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate both in French and English
- Available for four months starting in May 2025
