Technical Support Specialist, Tier 1, Ca

We are currently seeking Technical Support Specialists who are located in the Waterloo, Ontario area. This position is an integral part of Vox Mobile, providing excellent customer service to our clients in relation to mobile technology (smartphone, android and tablets). This individual will be responsible for the following tasks / responsibilities:
- Provide technical support services to end users, including device troubleshooting, mobile device activations, and mobile device swaps
Support Center Tools including ServiceNow, i3 and Vox Mobile’s knowledgebase
- Facilitate mobile carrier interactions on behalf of the client end user
- Process user procurement requests through our dedicated fulfillment channel
- Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure issues are resolved
- Acquire a level of knowledge in mobility services in order to exceed customer expectations
**Essential Skills and Experience**
- 2 years of customer service or call center / support center experience, technical support, and/or mobility/phone background, or related work experience
- Strong organizational and customer service skills with the ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing
- Experience with Mobility devices (smartphone and tablet technology) will be a plus, but may not be required based on other experience

The training schedule will be 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday - Friday and will last for approximately 3 weeks. The regular schedule will be assigned after training and work will be completed remotely from a home office. A clear Canadian Criminal Record check is required for the job.
