**Position Overview**

**What We Are Looking For...**

**Experience**:

- 2+ years of experience in a high-volume, physical, and fast-paced warehouse environment. Flooring background would be an asset.
- Experience with driving a 3-tonne truck/cube van including compliance with shipping regulations and safety standards.
- Operating electric pallet jack, electric power gate, forklift
- Self starter with strong communication, problem-solving skills, and decision-making abilities.

**Physical Requirements**:
Safely and effectively move products/materials:

- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects up to 75lbs, on a repetitive basis
- Ability to lift and carry products/materials up stairs, as required
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
- Ability to bend, stoop and reach
- Work in environments with varying temperatures

**Operational Skills**:

- Represent Westpro Flooring with professionalism and respect among vendors, installers and customers.
- Experience with verifying quantities against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Pride in maintaining Westpro Flooring vehicles - including performing pre
- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Detail oriented and ability to accurately complete tasks

**Safety & Compliance**:

- Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations. First Aid Certification is an asset.
- Adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Uphold safety standards and high expectations for yourself, co-workers, and peers.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Operations & Inventory**:

- Assist in shipping/receiving, prepping/picking, and storage of materials.
- Maintain on time deliveries and pick ups as scheduled by the Warehouse Manager.
- Assist in warehouse with order picking, and tasks as required.

**Fleet & Equipment**:

- Ensure safe operation and maintenance of warehouse equipment, including forklift(s), and power pallet jacks.
- Maintain cleanliness on all vehicles and equipment.

**Safety & Compliance**:

- Ensure full compliance with WorkSafe
- Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and conducting routine inspections.

**Experience**:

- Driving - 2+ years
- Warehouse - 2+ years

**License/Certifications**:

- Drivers License (Class 5) with clean drivers abstract
- Forklift Certification (Valid or Prepared to be Certified)

**How to Apply**:

Pay: $24.00-$29.00 per hour
