**Requirements**:
- Must be reliable, punctual and possess a positive attitude.
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions.
- Able to work as a team and communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers, ensuring all tasks are being completed in a safe and timely manner.
- Valid class 5 drivers license and/or reliable transportation to and from various worksites in the HRM.
- Previous experience as a laborer, general construction labor, pipe labourer or landscaper/hardscape considered and asset.
**Responsibilities**:
- Thoroughly inspect tools and equipment daily.
- Direct dump trucks.
- Participate in safety conscious activities such as tailgate meetings every morning.
- Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all rules and regulations set forward by foremen.
- Loading and unloading construction materials.
- Other various construction related activities as instructed
**Job Types**: Seasonal, Full-time
Contract length: 8 months
**Salary**: $21.00-$28.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Dartmouth, NS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
