The Finance team at SkipTheDishes casts a wide net. We of course own day-to-day financials, but because of our growth mindset we drive accountability and look for ways to optimize all areas of the business every day.

The Finance Business Partner, Logistics (Delco) will work under the Commercial Finance team at Skip with a dotted line to the Global Finance Business Partner for Delivery, partnering with global and local market stakeholders around reporting, planning, commercial decision-making, and more as it relates to our delivery activities.

The role will have broad responsibility for bringing analytic rigor to the evaluation of operational and financial performance for Delco, navigating challenges from shaping long-term strategy to driving short-term performance while playing an active role in financial projects.

**What's On Your Plate**:

- Partner with senior leadership of the global Delivery team, providing advice to partners and driving accountability through accurate and timely information.
- Perform extensive financial modeling and analysis for a broad range of reporting and planning activities, including month-end analysis, strategic planning, and business agendas.
- Work with the Delivery leadership team to coordinate the budgeting and forecasting process ensuring collaboration and consensus with our partners, markets, and FP&A.
- Actively engage in the month-end financial reporting and analysis processes, completing and/or participating in review activities where appropriate.
- Maintain and update monthly KPI reporting, including commentary around monthly results and performance against budgets/forecasts.
- Drive valuable insights and influence operational leadership through ad hoc analysis and decision support on strategic investments, and optimization initiatives.
- Build, maintain, and review data-driven models to help support financial reporting and analysis activities.
- Use quantitative and qualitative analysis to influence and drive alignment across Product, Operations, and Engineering teams.

**Recipe For Success**:

- CPA designation with 4-6 years of proven operational experience.
- Logical analytical problem solver that is able to spot trends and indicate the key drivers behind them.
- Outstanding presentation, reporting, communication, and visualization skills.
- Experience building forecasts including complex, data-driven models.
- An entrepreneurial approach that thrives in a fast-paced organization with multiple priorities. Change to the business should be expected and welcomed, ambiguity should excite you.
- Strong sense of ownership and can dissect diverse problem statements into a set of action plans to drive the business forward.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.
- Experience with SQL and/or data analysis tools (Tableau/PowerBI).
- Proactive, self-motivated and curious, ability to run with an idea.
- A history of building influence and consensus across the organization from peers to key partners, using data-supported insights.
- Experience working within a matrix-style organization (bonus if also in a global/international environment).
- Bonus: Experience working with Workday Financial.
