**Overview**

**Duties**
- Safely operate LCV vehicles to transport freight to designated locations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding transportation and safety standards.
- Assist with moving items as needed within the warehouse or loading area.

**Skills**
- Proven experience in commercial LCV driving with a valid driver's license; Forklift operation is a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members, clients, and supervisors.
- Experience in handling freight with attention to detail in loading/unloading procedures.
- Strong organizational skills to manage delivery schedules efficiently.
