**Cabinet Maker** Geron Associates Ltd., an established exhibit and display company located in Markham, ON, is currently seeking experienced cabinet makers to join our team. We design, build and manage installations of exhibits, retail fixtures and interior environments from conceptual design to final installation across North America. This is a full time permanent position. **Position Requirements**: 5 years of experience working and installation of millwork - Must be mechanically inclined: using tools such as trimers, nail gun, hammer, etc. - Comfortable using a bench saw - Working in a dusty environment - Must be able to travel to different sites across Canada as required - Must possess a "G" class license - Ability to read assembly drawings - Must be able to work with others unsupervised during on-site installations - Ability to stand for long periods of time while doing assembly and able to lift heavy loads - Able to work overtime and weekends when required - Able to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs) **Specific Skills Required** - Understand shop drawings and plans - Operate woodworking machines, use hand tools to cut, drill, shape and form parts and components - Experience working with veneers, solid wood and laminates **Work Information** - 7:30 am - 4:30 pm hours of work - Southwest Markham **Personal Suitability** - Effective interpersonal skills - Punctual - Team player - Well organized - Willingness to learn - Adaptable - Good attention to detail **How to Apply**: **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent Additional pay: - Overtime pay **Benefits**: - Dental care - Extended health care - On-site parking - Vision care Schedule: - 8 hour shift **Experience**: - Cabinet Making: 5 years (required) Work Location: In person
