Excavator/dozer Operator

Whitecourt, Canada Howitt Construction Ltd Full time

Howitt Construction is a busy excavation company based out of Red Deer. We're looking for experienced **excavator & dozer** operators for **nightshift and dayshift**on a pond project located approx 80 minutes NW of Whitecourt. Work contract approx 1.5-2 months long.

**Work Details**
- 10 - 11 hrs/shift + 1 hr of drive time,
- 7 days a week, long weekends off (4 days),
- Hotel/LOA available,
- Transportation provided to and from work.

**Excavator Scope of Work**:

- Minimum **4** years of excavator experience,
- Production loading rock trucks, shaping berms,
- Working around other heavy equipment & ground personnel.
- Complete walk arounds,
- Fuel and grease own machine.

**Dozer Scope of Work**:

- Minimum of **4** years experience,
- Stripping topsoil,
- Grading slopes,
- GPS experience an asset but not necessary,
- Must be able to work alone with limited supervision.
- **PPE Requirements**_
- Steel toed boots,
- High visibility safety vest,
- Safety glasses,
- Hard hat,
- Gloves.
