Lead Carpenter

**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Lead and manage carpentry projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within specifications.
- Build, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard.
- Perform flooring installation, cabinet installation, and caulking as required.
- Fabricate custom woodwork according to project requirements.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople including electricians to ensure seamless project execution.
- Train and mentor junior carpenters in best practices and safety protocols.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience as a carpenter with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in CNC machinery is preferred but not required.
- Solid understanding of electrical systems related to carpentry work is a plus.
- Experience with flooring installation techniques and materials.
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
- Valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- carpentry: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
