Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter Helper to join our team. The Carpenter Helper will assist in various carpentry tasks, including concrete forming, drywall installation, siding, electrical work, tile laying, and more. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about carpentry and wants to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic construction environment.
**Duties**:
- Assist carpenters in assembling, installing, and fabricating various structures and fixtures
- Prepare construction sites by cleaning and removing debris
- Operate hand tools and power tools under the guidance of experienced carpenters
- Measure, cut, and shape materials according to specifications
- Assist with concrete forming and pouring
- Help with drywall installation and finishing
- Assist with electrical work, including wiring and fixture installation
- Assist with tile laying and grouting
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in carpentry or construction is preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in carpentry work
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform tasks accurately
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights when necessary
Note: This is a paid position. Internship positions must also be compensated.
Pay: $16.80-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
