**Coulson Aviation** is a global aerial firefighting company that operates in Canada, the USA, Australia, and Chile.
**Coulson Aviation** operates with a fleet of large aerial firefighting aircraft consisting of both fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft. With our fleet, we can run rapid aerial fire suppression, including initial attack and extended attack protocols.
**Coulson Aviation** is a part of the** Coulson Group** of companies. We are a growing organization that has been in business for 63 years.
We are looking to add to our team and hire a full time **Purchaser.**
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- This role will be responsible for procurement support as required and any opportunities for improvement projects in the procurement areas across the business.
- Lead procurement projects, adherence to Supply Chain processes, and monitor projects.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, customers, raw material suppliers, transportation service providers, and work closely with Supply Chain teams to ensure that all products moving are being delivered as planned and on time.
- Support all purchasing activities including communication of inbound and outbound shipment tracking information to various departments and external locations.
- Monitor that all requirements identified in our process have been properly updated in the Purchase Orders in the company ERP.
- Work with various departments to ensure steady flow of information throughout our supply chain.
- Review and solve any purchasing issue and work very closely with Purchasing Supervisor.
- This role will partake in sharing of the aircraft on ground (AOG) phone and manage all AOG transactions on an assigned rotation basis.
- Ensure that we’re meeting department KPI’s and meeting expectations of procuring 25 - 50 lines per day where possible.
- Ensure Coulson Group of Companies procedures and standards are being met.
**Requirements**:
- High School Diploma required.
- 2-3 years of aviation purchasing experience preferred.
- 1+ years experience in senior procurement role preffered.
- Technical knowledge preferred.
- Experience in Microsoft Office (Outlook and Excel).
- Very detail oriented.
- Ability to handle stress well and be flexible.
- Ability to adapt well to a constant changing environment.
**Benefits**:
