**Backwoods Energy is seeking Highly Experienced Class 1 Drivers with Super-B, Equipment Hauling & Loading experience in the Nisku, AB surrounding areas.**

**Wage**:$38.00 - $45.00 / Hour

**Shifts**:10 - 12 Hours, up to 6-7 shifts / Week

**The Role**:
The role of Class 1 Driver contributes to team success by providing trucking and transportation support of access mats to client locations in northwestern Alberta.
- Safe operation of equipment
- Conducting routine pre/post-trip truck inspections and maintaining accurate records of count sheets and incident reporting
- Providing exceptional service to build and maintain quality customer relationships
- Operating straight trucks or trailers safely and professionally to transport goods and materials over rural routes
- Performing product delivery verification at the customer location and maintaining customer invoices
- Following health and safety and safe work procedures
- Completing all daily paperwork including but not limited to Safety Paperwork, BOL’s, MTS’s etc.
- All other duties as assigned

**What We're Looking For**:

- Experience operating **Super-Bee setups, Hauling and Loading Equipment**:

- Min 2 years of experience operating equipment preferably matting haul experience
- Hours of Service-, Load Securement and Pre-Trip Inspection experience considered an asset
- Physically fit and able to repeatedly get in/out of equipment and secure loads
- Strong communication and customer service skills with English fluency
- Previous professional driving experience is required
- Ability to work in a variety of weather, temperature and road conditions

**Training and Certifications Required**:

- Valid Class 1 driver’s license with a clean commercial driver’s abstract
- Hours of Service Training Certificate (required)
- Load Securement Training Certificate (required)
- Pre-Trip Inspection Training Certificate (required)
- Standard First Aid with CPR (required)
- CSTS 2020 (required)
- Ground Disturbance Level II (required)
- H2S Alive (an asset)

**Experience**:
