**B) CAFE DETAILS**

We are an established Second Cup cafe located inside Sheppard Centre shopping mall in heart of North york. The mall is Full renovated office tower which provides an exceptional shopping experience in a clean, safe, and upscale environment. Also Mall is directly connected to Sheppard subway station.

Like most cafes, we can get very busy and you will need to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment WHILE being personable and tactful enough to engage and connect with each of our guests.

Any of the following experiences will be an asset: customer service, serving, cashier, hospitality, and of course, fluency on espresso machines.

**C) POSITION DETAILS**

**FULL TIME** ( 1 or 2 Positions )
- preference will be given to people with OPEN availability
- Must have weekend availability
- mix of shifts and # of hours determined by staffing needs and business demands
- Opener / Closer

**D) JOB DETAILS**

Some of the responsibilities include:

- friendly and helpful guest interaction
- intimate knowledge of all of our drinks and food, and ability to make appropriate suggestions based on guests needs and wants
- production of various drinks (coffee-based, tea-based, smoothies, etc.)
- serving food items (no cooking or baking involved)
- advanced espresso knowledge and techniques (semi-automatic espresso machine, manual adjustment of grinding and dosing, texturing milk (microfoam), free-pouring of latte art)
- effective merchandising and selling
- computerized point-of-sale operation, credit/debit payment processing, and cash handling
- frequent cleaning, restocking, and upkeep of back counter, serving counter, and seating areas
- daily cleaning and maintenance of equipment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Part-time

**Salary**: From $15.00 per hour
