Manager, Family Services, The Catholic Cemeteries of the Diocese of Hamilton
The Catholic Cemeteries of the Diocese of Hamilton is currently seeking a Manager, Family Services to join our staff based at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Burlington. The position offers a competitive benefits package and a great work environment.
About the Job:
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensures optimal overall staffing throughout all properties for administration and sales
- Oversees all cemetery managers and sales staff
- Oversees administrative staff with respect to customer service
- Oversees the overall management of interment orders and memorialization products
- Meets with client families to help them make the best decisions in the purchase of the cemeteries’ services and products
- Responsible for managing various sales initiatives
- Assists in the development of pricing structures for all products and services
- Overall responsibility for the procurement of all manufacturing supplies and purchased products for resale
- Other duties as required
Skills Required:
- Honours Business Degree or related
- 5-10 years of experience in the cemetery industry and understanding of requirements
- Ability to lead, coach, and influence others - strong leadership skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Knowledge and understanding of the Roman Catholic faith and traditions
