**Job description**

Home Coffee Solutions is looking for a Product Specialist to lead our customers to great purchasing decisions and assist with post purchase support.

HCS is one of Canada’s largest and fastest-growing coffee Equipment and Coffee/Tea retailers, with an office and showroom location. We’re looking for a new team member who loves coffee, is personable, reliable, and someone who is excited to learn about and represent the world of third-wave specialty coffee.

This role will be involved with the day-to-day operations of our e-commerce and retail location - assisting with customer inquiries, post purchase support and orders both on the phone and in person.

**Responsibilities**
- Learning product lineup of espresso machines, coffee makers, and coffee to become a resident product expert
- Take/make phone calls to assist with both purchasing decisions and post purchase support
- Troubleshooting and de-escalating customer issues
- Working closely with Shopify for customer orders, product

**Requirements**:

- High proficiency in the English and French languages for both written and oral communication
- Experience with coffee as a barista, coffee enthusiast, or strong will to learn more about the world of coffee
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and comfortable working in a very fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and complete deadlines in a timely fashion
- Confident and social with a personable attitude
- Curious with the will to learn and grow
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with reprioritization

**Nice-to-haves / Assets**
- Experience with manual and semi-automatic coffee makers
- Comfortable presenting in front of people
- Prior work experience in a customer service-based role
- Prior experience with the Shopify e-commerce platform

**Salary**: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
