**Surveyor**

**Responsibilities**:

- Collect and manage geospatial data from multiple sources.
- Provide support to design teams regarding coordinate systems and survey data adjustments.
- Perform surveys for geospatial data collection and construction layout.
- Supervise and inspect construction layouts.
- Develop, inform, and implement best practices for geospatial data collection, workflow, quality control, and management.
- Maintain and protect survey equipment.
- Import/export survey data and manage methodology for collection.
- Develop layout files from multiple formats (.pdf,.dxf, CAD,.csv, etc.).
- Prepare as-built files and project turnover documentation.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma in Geomatics or Civil Engineering Technology.
- Legal surveyor designation is considered an asset.
- Experience with construction layout (urban/rural roadways, linear pipes, bridges, civil infrastructure, and earthworks).
- Proficiency with ArcGIS, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and Trimble Business Centre.
- Extensive GPS, Total Station (Robotic), and rod-and-level experience (Leica/Trimble/Topcon).
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively, including extended stays on project sites.
