**JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

The Automotive Shop Assistant is responsible for the effective support of store operations to ensure that quality standards, customer service and productivity requirements are met.

**General Duties**
- Receiving incoming product shipments
- Loading and un-loading shipments
- Picking, packing and preparing orders for shipment.
- Maintaining & organizing shipping and receiving area
- Pull, organize and stage product in preparation for installation
- Facilitate transfers to and from stores
- Assist store Manager and Salespeople
- Organize tire storage orders incoming and outgoing for store and Mobile
- Coordinate order tracking and order management, support issue resolution between stores and warehouse
- Pull and organize work orders
- Drive customer vehicles in and out of shop
- Pull Tire Storage for customers
- Put Away Tire Storage for customers
- Assists in managing and planning daily appointment calendar for store to properly plan for incoming work
- Distributes up-to-date service requirement information to shop employees
- Supports compliance with company standards for quality workmanship, safety, cost control and waste reduction
- **Other Duties**Supports the timely completion of work and coordinates work activities with other areas of the company as required
- Performs physical stock checks of all inventory if needed
- Overseeing the cleaning and maintenance of the work area and premises as needed
- Other duties and day to day activities that may arise

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Fluent in English (Spoken and Written)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work independently.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid Drivers license
- Ability to drive manual preferred

**Salary**
- Starting at $18/hr+ $1500 signing bonus end of December

**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour
