**About Us**:
Optimum Pharmacy is a trusted, patient-centered pharmacy located in Newmarket. We are proud to offer a full range of services, including prescription dispensing, compounding, blister packaging, and opioid agonist therapy. We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our professional team.

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare, process, and dispense prescriptions accurately
- Perform non-sterile compounding of customized medications
- Prepare and check blister packs by pharmacy and OCP standards
- Process and dispense methadone as part of the pharmacy’s opioid agonist therapy program
- Maintain proper records for all compounded and controlled substances
- Accurately process third-party insurance claims and billing
- Use pharmacy software (Kroll experience is an asset)
- Maintain proper inventory levels, expiry checks, and order supplies
- Provide excellent customer service and patient support
- Ensure compliance with all provincial pharmacy regulations and safety standards

**Qualifications**:

- Registered and in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP)
- Experience in a retail or community pharmacy setting required
- Experience with compounding and blister packaging preferred
- Knowledge of methadone dispensing protocols is an asset
- Familiarity with Kroll pharmacy software is strongly preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Farsi-speaking is an asset, but not required
