We are currently seeking a Telecommunication Technician to join our team in Kelowna.

Responsibilities Include:

- Network cabling and terminating
- Installation, service and support on a wide variety of telecommunication systems
- Primary focus on NEC IP/ PBX telephone systems
- VOIP telephones
- PRI and SIP trunk knowledge
- Examples (but not limited to); navigate hosted PBX, Univerge Blue and Shaw Smart Voice
- 24/7 on call, on a weekly rotational basis
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 4 years of experience as a VOIP engineer/ systems engineer
- Solid knowledge of SIP Stack and TDM Voice Infrastructures
- Fundamental understanding of network routing/ switching and virtualization and ability to conduct basic troubleshooting
- Knowledge and experience with VMware, Hyper-V, TCP, UDP, RTCP, DNS, DHCP required
- Experience in support of VOIP installations such as ShoreTel, Mitel or Zultys platforms in a physical infrastructure as well as systems within a virtual environment considered an asset
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting network equipment from Cisco, Adtran, HP and Watchguard
- Detail oriented
- Excellent interpersonal skill
