**Join Our Team**

GB Stone Inc. is seeking an enthusiastic and hard-working Sales Associate to join our Sales & Customer Service Team this season. This role is a perfect fit for you if you thrive in an energetic work environment and possess strong communication and multi-tasking skills. If you are seeking a full-time position, we would love to hear from you There will be a combination of working both in the office and in the yard. Ideally we would like to keep you on for the winter under slightly different job details, but at the same location.

**Responsibilities**

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Counter Sales: serving customers (contractors and homeowners), ask questions to determine customer’s needs and recommend products and solutions
- Order Entry into POS system
- Answering phones to direct calls or handle customer orders and inquiries
- Conduct estimates on landscape materials for residential and commercial projects (training provided)
- Follow up with customers during sales process (and afterwards) for feedback to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and/or to prevent/resolve issues
- Keep track of customers to follow up with leads
- Assist customers with advice, strategy, and/or design ideas
- Support other members of Sales & Customer Service Team with in-office tasks, responsibilities, orders, and procedures
- Forklift/front end loader experience
- Help in the yard as needed
- Sell salt in the winter months on call

**Requirements**:

- Must be available to work Saturdays
- Must be available to work on call in the winter months
- Basic quantitative skills and mathematical knowledge required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Positive, go-getter attitude, with eagerness to learn
- Ability to manage a variety of tasks effectively, adapting quickly to changing priorities

**Assets**
- Knowledge of landscape and hardscape materials
- Previous order entry and point of sales experience
- Heavy equipment operator skills
- Landscape industry experience

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
