**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Lead by example** in all aspects of patient care, client communication, and team collaboration.
- **Support and supervise veterinary technicians** and assistants to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care and workflow.
- **Implement and uphold hospital protocols and company policies**, ensuring compliance and consistency across all shifts.
- **Foster a positive, proactive team culture**, encouraging growth, accountability, and open communication.
- **Mentor and train team members**, identifying strengths and developing skills through coaching and support.
- **Coordinate daily operations**, including shift delegation, scheduling, inventory control, and resource management.
- **Maintain a calm, solution-focused mindset** during high-pressure situations, effectively guiding the team through challenges.
- **Collaborate with veterinarians and leadership** to continuously improve processes, patient outcomes, and team dynamics.
- **Drive team goals and performance metrics**, holding yourself and others accountable to excellence and progress.
- **Promote a client-first attitude**, ensuring every interaction reflects compassion, knowledge, and professionalism.
**Experience Needed**:
- Active **Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)** license in good standing.
- Minimum **2-3 years of clinical veterinary experience** in a fast-paced hospital setting (emergency or specialty experience is a plus).
- **Prior leadership or supervisory experience** strongly preferred—must be confident in leading by example and coaching others.
- Proven ability to **handle high-pressure situations with confidence and clarity**.
- Strong knowledge of **hospital protocols, veterinary procedures, and patient care standards**.
- Comfortable with **delegating tasks, managing workflows**, and supporting a busy team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both with clients and team members.
- A positive, proactive attitude and a genuine passion for **mentorship, growth, and team development**.
**Schedule Requirements**:
- Must be available to work **a variety of shifts**, including **days, evenings, weekends, and holidays**, as needed.
- Comfortable with **rotating schedules** and **supporting the team during high-demand hours**.
- Flexibility is key—we’re looking for someone who can adapt to the needs of the hospital and lead with consistency across all shifts.

Pay: $35.00-$39.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
