**What You’ll Be Doing**
- Assisting veterinarians and veterinary technicians during exams and procedures
- Safely and compassionately handling and restraining patients (dogs and cats)
- Preparing exam rooms, equipment, and treatment areas
- Supporting hospitalized patients with providing husbandry and TLC
- Communicating clearly and kindly with clients and team members
- Helping keep our hospital clean, organized, stocked, and running smoothly
- Preparing fecal and blood samples for the lab

**What We’re Looking For**
- Veterinary assistant experience preferred (or equivalent hands-on animal care experience), or holds a certificate/diploma in animal care
- Strong animal handling skills, attention to detail, and an ability to think ahead and multitask
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills (efficient, very pleasant, courteous, polite, and helpful under all conditions)
- A genuine passion for veterinary medicine and patient care
- A focus on cleanliness of the facility as a priority (lots of cleaning and laundry)

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
