We are looking for a dependable **Casual Alarm and CCTV Installer** to assist with the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of alarm systems and CCTV surveillance equipment. This casual position offers flexible working hours, making it ideal for individuals who prefer part-time work or a varied schedule. You will be responsible for servicing residential, commercial, and industrial clients, ensuring security systems are installed and functioning to the highest standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Install, configure, and test alarm systems, CCTV cameras, and related security devices.
- Run and conceal cabling and wiring to maintain a clean, professional setup.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of security systems.
- Conduct site assessments and assist clients in choosing the best security solutions.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
- Provide basic training and technical support to clients on system operations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all work performed.
- Stay updated with the latest security technologies and best practices.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as an Alarm and CCTV installer or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of alarm systems, CCTV cameras, and security system components.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical schematics.
- Comfortable working in confined spaces (e.g., attics, crawl spaces) and at heights.
- Must be able to work in any weather conditions.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in running and concealing cables, wires, and other installation materials.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Valid driver's license and access to transportation to travel to client sites.
- (Optional) Certification in security system installation or electronics is an asset.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with access control systems or home automation.
- Familiarity with IP-based surveillance systems and basic networking.
- Knowledge of local building codes and safety standards.
