Landscape Crew Lead

Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:

- **Leadership and Supervision**:

- Manage and lead a team of lawn care technicians, ensuring they perform their tasks efficiently and safely.
- Train new crew members on proper lawn care techniques, equipment use, and safety protocols.
- Schedule and assign daily tasks to crew members, ensuring optimal team performance.
- **Lawn Care and Maintenance**:

- Perform and oversee grass cutting, edging, trimming, and other lawn maintenance tasks.
- Ensure the proper and safe use of lawn care equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
- **Client Relations**:

- Interact with clients to address their lawn care needs and preferences.
- Provide recommendations for additional services when necessary.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service and addressing any concerns promptly.
- **Administrative Duties**:

- Maintain accurate records of daily work, equipment maintenance, and crew hours.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in lawn care or landscaping, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of lawn care techniques, equipment, and safety practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions in the field.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Capable of lifting and carrying heavy equipment and supplies (up to 50 lbs).
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
