Triple Eight Transport Inc. is currently looking to add Accounting Manager leading the AR, AP, Billing & Invoicing, Employee Payroll, and Owner Operator Payroll team.

This position will be responsible for leading the current team and meeting all applicable KPI’s for the AR, AP, Billing, Invoicing and Payroll responsibilities and timelines. The **Accounting** **Manager** is responsible for managing a team environment to ensure that work is properly allocated and completed in a timely and accurate manner. This position addresses tight deadlines.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Oversee, audit and manage general administrative functions, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, general ledger and taxes
- Consistent, fair, and firm leadership.
- Coach, train and mentor staff to meet departmental KPI’s.
- Examine and analyze journal ledger entries, bank statements, expenditures, GST and PST filings and other accounting and financial records
- Maintain and monitor staff holiday and track in spreadsheet
- Update, manage, analyze and track Administrative reports and records
- Collect and provide information for audit inquiries and give assistance to accountants
- Responsible to lead all administrative financial and payroll functions

**Education, Experience and Skills**
- Must be able to lead a team and manage behavior change.
- Minimum 2-year **leadership** experience in **administration and/or** Accounting field.
- Knowledge of Great Plains an asset
- Proficient in data entry and management
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Work under pressure to meet deadlines
- High degree of accuracy and good eye for detail
- Self-motivated, multitasking, organizing and prioritizing
- Strong verbal, written communication and strong interpersonal skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $60,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
