Precision DKI has opened a second location in Squamish and is looking for an experienced flood technician. Our company services the Sea-To-Sky Highway and is looking for ambitious and energetic individuals to join our team We are a full-service company that offers on the job training and orientation, competitive wages, Health and Dental benefits, and a supportive team environment. We offer a signing bonus after 3 months.

Flood Technicians work on water related emergencies in both residential and commercial properties. Flood Technicians are responsible for stabilizing, cleaning and placing drying equipment in preparation for restoration.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide communication and photos to Managers and their teams regarding status of work
- Determine category of water loss
- Extract water
- Assist in determination on non-restorable building components
- Assist in demolition
- Set up drying equipment
- Clean and sanitize using bio wash procedures
- May be required to manipulate, block, or move contents
- Monitors drying process and adjusts/removes equipment as required

**Qualifications**:

- Superior customer service skills
- Clean criminal record as it relates to work
- Valid Driver's Licence with a clean driver abstract
- Experience driving and parking a cube truck or full sized panel van is considered an asset

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work alone or with minimum supervision
- Ability to lift industrial fans 30 - 40 lbs
- Ability to load/unload wheeled industrial dehumidifiers
- Knowledge of construction related hand tools and power tools
- Knowledge of building materials and basic construction fundamentals
- Experience in custodial work, pressure washing, carpet cleaning, or carpet installation is considered beneficial

Working Conditions
- Will often work in dirty and/or wet conditions
- Work is of a physical nature
- Personal Protective Equipment are provided
- Work is full-time. Overtime is required at times.
