**Description**:
Located out of our Cochrane Extraction Plant site, the Maintenance Summer Student role will report to the Manager, CEP Maintenance & Reliability
**Key Activities and Responsibilities**:
- General shop cleanup and organization
- Updating spare parts requirements
- Provide logístical support when large numbers of contractors are on site
- Assisting with routine preventative maintenance activities
- Equipment cleaning and filter changes
- Coordinating ‘As Built’ or ‘As-Found’ documentation updates
- Investigate dormant open work orders with a goal of reducing current work order backlogs
- Gather supplies from town when necessary
- Assisting E&I and Mechanical groups on an “as needed” basis
- Assisting groundskeeper on an “as needed” basis
**Education, Skills & Experience**:
- Currently enrolled in a technology or engineering post-secondary education program and has, as a minimum,
- completed the first year of the program
- Positive attitude, self-motivated and dependable, with a strong work ethic
- Pleasant personality and positive outlook
- A demonstrated commitment to safety and compliance to processing facility procedures
**Hours**:
Full time, M-F, on-site, anticipated to start early **May 2025 until late August 2025
