**Responsibilities**:

- Welcome and interact with customers in our store, ensuring exceptional service and a positive experience.
- Listen attentively to customer needs, identify technical requirements, and suggest appropriate technology solutions based on their specifications.
- Develop and present professional solution proposals which include products, services, and implementation plans to customers.
- Respond to RFPs and RFQs sent in by various clients.
- Document key sales activities in our CRM as well as maintain an accurate sales pipeline.
- Traveling to both current clients and new prospects in support of growing the Quinsam brand
- Run the day-to-day business of our Port Alberni location
- Assist technicians with installations

**Key Qualifications**:

- A self-starter who takes initiative and can work independently to meet objectives.
- Demonstrated reliability and organizational skills, ensuring efficient completion of tasks and assignments.
- Aptitude and enthusiasm for learning about new technologies and staying updated on industry trends.
- An outgoing and friendly personality who can communicate effectively with clients.
- Time management skills ensuring customer needs are met efficiently.

**Requirements**:

- 2 years of experience in sales
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Valid class 5 driver's license and ability to travel for work-related assignments.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Willingness to work overtime when necessary.

We own and operate our own wide area safety radio network called Quinsam CONNECT which is used by school districts, Aquaculture mining and transport companies for voice and GPS tracking.

**Position Type**:
Full-time, located in Port Alberni.

**Compensation**:
$50,000 - $54,000/year + Commission.
