Role - ServiceNow Consultant
Hybrid position
Location - Toronto
CSDM & Service Mapping:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and maintain service maps aligned with ServiceNow's **Common Service Data Model (CSDM).**
Work closely with IT Asset Management and Data Mapping teams to ensure consistency and accuracy in data representation.
Data Mapping & Analysis:
Conduct end-to-end data mapping exercises, focusing on understanding ITOM and CMDB structures in ServiceNow.
Analyze raw data and convert it into a usable format for CMDB population and reporting.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Facilitate workshops and meetings to walk through service mapping, dependencies, and CSDM alignment.
Serve as the point of contact between IT and business units for all CSDM-related activities.
Best Practices & Compliance:
Ensure that service mapping efforts align with ITOM standards and CSDM best practices.
Maintain documentation and ensure data integrity in ServiceNow CMDB.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Technical Expertise:
3-5 years of experience working with ServiceNow, specifically within ITOM and CMDB modules.
Strong understanding of ServiceNow's** Common Service Data Model (CSDM)** framework.
Experience in Service Mapping, CMDB, ITOM, and IT Asset Management.
Familiarity with ITIL practices, particularly in CMDB and service catalog management.
Analytical & Problem-Solving:
Strong analytical skills for data mapping and problem-solving.
