General Labourer

**This position works a 12 hour continental rotation & is located in Tilbury, ON.**

**PAY RANGE: $20.16 - $24.32 + Shift Premiums**

**OVERVIEW**:
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the primary purpose of the General Labourer Operator I, is to assist the Production Department as needed to ensure successful completion of various production processes. As a member of the RS team, this position will support an organizational culture that cares for other's well-being through best practices in health and safety, in addition to the company's values of respect, integrity, quality, teamwork and professional growth.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Ensure proper storage and inventory of materials which are used for job purposes to perform job tasks
- Adhere to all related paperwork for agitation, upload of resin, and upload of glass for efficient process flow
- Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of work area
- Knowledge of necessary tools needed to perform measurements, and hand cutting functions
- Adhere to all QC Alerts, changes to the process and their issues
- Participate in continuous improvement activities
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Take initiative and be a team player
- Comply with PPE requirements, all company safety rules and Provincial and Federal Rules and Regulations
- Other duties as assigned

**TRAINING / QUALIFICATIONS**:

- High School Diploma
- Lift Truck certificate an asset
- Overhead Crane Certification an asset
- Able to lift 20 kg overhead multiple times
- Able to stand for extended periods of time if required to complete various job tasks

**WORKING CONDITIONS**:

- Industrial production environment
- Hot & humid areas within the plant
- Physically demanding tasks
- Interaction with heavy machinery, moving equipment and limited movement of chemicals within the production area
