No experience required - training available. Experience is a plus

**Responsibilities**:

- Set-up and manage CNC machines
- Translate engineering drawings and requirements into dimensions for production.
- Ensure the CNC machine operates in accordance with the guidelines of the company.
- Oversee the machines while they execute the tasks and make the necessary changes to produce
- improved results.
- Check machinery on a daily basis to guarantee functionality.
- Record all machine actions by completing production and quality logs.
- Communicate logistics issues that arise in the process of creating a part.
- Ensure that results of machining process align with client expectations.
- Conduct regular CNC machine assessments.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment
- Work to the quality standard set out by the Production and Assistant Production Managers
- Attend toolbox talks regarding health and safety and demonstrate adherence to a comprehensive standard operating procedures manual developed and enforced by the production management team

**Preferred Skillset**:

- Highschool diploma or equivalent related experience.
- Ability to use overhead cranes, basic hand tools
- tape measure, etc.
- Understand DXF, DWG, and various print file types
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed (voluntary)
- Experience with CNC machine operation
- Experience with Computer Aided Drafting
- Perform other various duties based on company needs and workload
- Certificate or diploma in engineering is an advantage.
- 1 years’ experience as a CNC machine operator.
- Great attention to detail with a goal-driven attitude.
- Strong comprehension and analytical abilities.
- Good computer and mathematical skills.
- Strong communication skills and high level of organization
- CAD and/or CAM based software experience is an asset
- Overhead crane license or experience (preferred)
- Forklift license (preferred but non-essential)

**Hours of Work**:
Day shift - 6:00am to 3:00pm (1 vacancies)

Night shift - 3:00pm to 11:15pm (1 vacancies)

Employees are offered overtime based on skill level and workload capacity. These extra hours are often offered in peak seasons in conjunction with the construction industry within the GTA.

**Pay Rates**:
From $25.00 - $30.00 per hour (based on experience)

Pay rates are dependent on experience and skill base. Pay is deposited weekly.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift

- Monday to Friday
- Night shift

Supplemental pay types:
