Rosedale Seniors' Living is seeking a Recreation Assistant to help facilitate programs and services that contribute to the enjoyment and quality of life of our residents. Come join our team and be part of making a positive difference to the lives of our seniors Position detail summary:

- Under the direction of the Recreation Lead, implement daily recreation programs to include physical, emotional, cognitive and social programs
- Assist to facilitate additional on-site services and clinics to benefit residents
- Promote resident volunteers and actively encourage and promote participation in programs
- Participate in contributing ideas for new programs and events
- Collaborate with other departments to support resident services
- Occasional weekend and evening work is required

**Qualifications**:

- Demonstrate a passion for working with seniors across a broad range of interests and needs
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic with the ability to engage seniors in activities
- Grade 12 diploma, with certification in recreation or leisure studies an asset
- Emergency First Aid and CPR required
- Criminal Records Check dated within 6 months
- Class IV Driver's License with clean driver's abstract an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $19.16 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
