**Accounting Analyst**

**As our Accounting Analyst, you would support the Assistant Controller and Controller in the completion of monthly and year-end processing, as well as financial statement preparation.**

**Position Overview**:

- **Analyze and reconcile financial statements, cost variances, GL accounts.**:

- Perform accruals for **preparation of consolidated financial statements**.
- Assist in the **preparation of financial statements with respect to Joint Venture Companies.**:

- Maintain and reconcile capital asset and capital lease schedules.
- Investigate and **provide feedback on accounting irregularities** and suggest solutions.
- Provide **support to business units** and accounting staff along with assisting with financial reporting or analysis as required.

**Qualifications Needed**:

- **Enrolled or completion of a certified accounting program or equivalent combined level of education and minimum of 2 years progressive accounting experience.**:

- High **attention to detail and highly organized **with strong time management and prioritization skills.
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office, strong computer skills and experience with various account software packages.
