PLAN Contracting Ltd (PLAN) is looking to add a full cycle bookkeeper to their administrative team. As well as PLAN, the bookkeeper will be responsible for the financial functions of our two sister companies, Wittich Environmental Services, and ScanPlus Locating Ltd, as well as the parent holding company of the group.

**Duties will include, but not be limited to**:
- Day to day financial data input for three companies, including vendor invoices, client invoices, payroll, recurring bank transactions, VISA transactions, etc.
- Preparation and filing of government remittances, including Source Deductions, EHT, GST and WCB.
- Hard copy management and filing of financial information
- Management of AR/AP lists, and coordination with VP of Operations for vendor cheque runs and management of overdue accounts.
- Coordinating bank runs, and clearing of deposits.
- Preparation of financial statements for management review.
- Preparation of year ends for accountant tax filing.
- Assistance with preparation of quarterly and annual budgets with management
- Management of daily cash flow for the companies.
**Experience/Skills**:
- Experience with QuickBooks Online is an asset.
- Experience with construction management software integrations is an asset.
- Experience in the construction/general contracting industry is an asset.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially in Excel.
- Strong knowledge of general office admin practices including filing and paper management best practices.
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to build effective relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Knowledge of British Columbia/Canadian Employment Standards and Canadian Payrolls Laws.
- Knowledge of GAAP and general bookkeeping best practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
**Starting Salary of $27-$35 an hour, based on experience and skill within the role.**
