Floor Manager

**Job Summary**:
Reporting to the Store Manager, the Retail Floor Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations on the sales floor to ensure optimal customer service, staff productivity, and store profitability. They lead the retail sales team, handle customer inquiries, manage inventory, and maintain a visually appealing and organized retail environment. The Retail Floor Manager also ensures that store policies and procedures are followed while driving sales performance and achieving store goals.
***Duties and Responsibilities**:
Customer Service
- Ensure excellent customer service is delivered by all floor staff
- Address customer concerns, complaints, or escalated issues promptly and effectively
- Build strong customer relationships and enhance the shopping experience
Staff Management
- Provide regular feedback and coaching to improve team performance
- Manage staff break schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours
- Train, and motivate the sales team to meet performance goals
Inventory Control
- Oversee inventory levels and replenishment to prevent stock shortages to maintain a neat and appealing sales floor
Operational
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety standards.
- Oversee floor staff and opening/closing procedures
- Manage and resolve employee conflicts
- Assist with store audits, shrink prevention, and loss prevention strategies.
***Qualifications**:
- Proven experience in retail management or a similar supervisory role
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a high-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Proficient with retail management software (POS, inventory systems, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
