The Pharmacy Assistant is responsible for assisting the pharmacy staff with administrative duties.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prescription hard copy filing and confirming files are up to date and complete
- Patient deliveries and patient scheduling documentation
- Photocopying pharmacy documents
- Processing credit card charges and other technical duties to aid finance
- Invoice reconciliation
- Shipping and receiving courier packages
- Aid with dispensing when required
- Managing inter-office and regular mail
- Obtaining proof of delivery from carriers
- Tracking and managing documentation of courier shipments
- Answering telephones and directing calls appropriately
- Computer data entry
- Ordering of all office supplies for all departments and working with suppliers
- Shipping and receiving duties
- Inventory management
- Other duties assigned

**Minimum requirement**:

- 0-1 years of experience. May have vocational qualification

**Additional skills**:

- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry in a retail pharmacy setting preferred
- Exemplary customer service and administrative skills
- This position requires a significant degree of self-starting and independence
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

**Our Base Pay Range for this position**

$33,200 - $55,300
