The Field Service Technician is a member of our Vexilor Procurement & Installations Team, which is responsible for POS hardware purchasing, deployments, installation and services. As Field Service Technician, you will be a front-line representative and responsible to provide professional and courteous customer service with quality workmanship.

**Role & Responsibilities**:
**1. Hardware selection, setup and testing**:

- Picking designated hardware from inventory
- ERP recording of stock depletion by serial number
- Hardware configuration per Vexilor specifications
- Hardware pre-deployment setup and testing
- Re-package and cross-check all items for accuracy

**2. Field Installation**:

- Travel to customer locations as required (within Toronto area)
- Network system installations at customer locations
- Hardware installation, system testing and troubleshooting

**3. Field Service**:

- Quick Response: on-site customer service as required by customers
- Troubleshoot, repair or replace Vexilor systems at customer locations
- In-shop tasks as required

**4. Assistance to Fulfillment operations**:

- RMA returns processing and reporting
- Sundry duties as assigned

**Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**:

- 2 years of experience with Network Installations
- Experienced with hand tools and network diagnostic equipment
- Previous experience in restaurants is considered an asset
- Previous experience with POS systems is considered an asset
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Relentless attention to detail, accuracy and functionality
- Ability to work well independently and under pressure
- Energetic and driven with a strong sense of urgency
- Analytical, client-oriented and comfortable with routine tasks
- Adaptable to change with a strong desire to learn
