**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Research, develop, and validate new analytical methods** for NHP ingredients and finished products using techniques such as HPLC, GC, ICP-MS, UV-Vis, etc.
- Design and execute validation protocols in alignment with Health Canada, USP, and ISO 17025 requirements.
- Collaborate with regulatory, QA/QC, and technical teams to implement validated methods into production workflows.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Health Canada’s NHP monographs and regulatory guidelines.
- Ensure data integrity, proper documentation, and SOP development.
- Support client-specific projects and provide technical insights as needed.

**Required Qualifications**:

- M.Sc. or PHD in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an R&D or method development role within an NHP or pharmaceutical testing lab.
- Strong understanding of Health Canada’s NHPD regulations and validation standards.
- Proficient in HPLC and related analytical instrumentation.
- Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Strong commitment to lab safety and ethical practices.

**Preferred Assets**:

- Experience with botanical testing, stability studies, or method transfer.
- Familiarity with GMP/GDP environments and regulatory audits.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative R&D setting.

Pay: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
