**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Measure and cut flooring materials to fit specific areas according to blueprints or design specifications.
- Install various types of flooring, including tile, hardwood, laminate, and carpet, Tarkett granite vinyl.
- Utilize hand tools and equipment effectively for flooring installation tasks.
- Ensure surfaces are prepared appropriately before installation, including leveling and cleaning.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice on flooring options.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the installation process.
- Perform repairs or adjustments as necessary to ensure the integrity of the flooring.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in flooring installation or related carpentry work.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and understanding design specifications.
- Familiarity with hand tools and equipment used in flooring installation.
- Skills in tile laying, caulking, and general maintenance person tasks are preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 35 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- flooring installation: 1 year (preferred)
- tile setting: 1 year (preferred)
